About needed hardware! I have a MacBook retina 13" with just one USB-C port and nothing else. I want to connect my mac to a charger and a USB-C DV-peripherial at the same time. What hardware of yours and how to go about it?

You don’t have a MacBook Pro 13” retina. You properly have a MacBook 12”. You can see all the accessories for your Mac here. There’s a lot of them that wil fix your problem.
